Hi Everyone, I am putting this fundraiser for my daughter Kaitlyn. Some of you might know and some might not so I'm just going to put this on here. Friday night (12-3-21) my daughter Kaitlyn Burden was taken by ambulance to Gateway Regional in Granite City she was incoherent and blacking out and her heart was "galloping" They did alot of blood work and a CT Scan which showed No bleeds which is I think a good thing but still no answers. They gave her 2 pints of blood and lots of fluids so she is feeling MUCH better. They transferred her to SLU late last night to see a Hematologist to see if she has an autoimmune disorder that's attacking her blood cells. She has been fighting this for about 6 weeks and it has progressively gotten worse. Up until 12-1-21 she had no insurance. On top of all of this chaos she also lost her job so currently has no income coming in at this time, I will be making sure her premium is covered for her insurance and looking into getting her on Medicaid if possible. But she still will have a high medical bill til then. All thoughts, prayers and donations are much appreciated!
