Hello, this is Savannah Lawson. My dear friend, Kaitlyn (18), was recently kicked out of her home. She is a student at GPHS and a member of GPHS Choir. As of now, she is safe in an institution but will be getting discharged soon, most likely later this week. Kaitlyn does not have any other family to stay with or to support her through this difficult time in her life. Right now all she has to lean on is her friends and the GP community. After December 3rd, Kaitlyn will receive the money she’s supposed to get monthly from her father’s death and will be able to get herself a place to stay. The amount isn’t enough for her to live comfortably since rent in Portland is high, so she will also need financial support after she gets a place. Until then, she is in need of funds to pay for temporary housing, food, and other supplies she may need. All donations and support are greatly appreciated and will go directly towards Kaitlyn’s cause. If there’s any questions or clarification needed, please contact me through here, or I can message you my number if needed.
