Help Kaitlyn through her Illess

My sister, Kaitlyn, was recently diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis. This is a form of Inflammatory Bowel Disease that causes painful ulcers in the large intestines. This is an extremely painful condition that has severely impacted her quality of life.
Kaitlyn is a new mother to a beautiful son with her partner Travis. She had gastrointestinal issues for years prior to her pregnancy. She had to restrict her diet to foods that wouldn't cause any sort of inflammation and cause her to have a flare up. During her pregnancy, her symptoms were dramatically decreased. This lasted for a while after Simon was born.
a couple weeks ago, Kaitlyn developed a fever and was in so much agony that she could barely hold her baby because of the pressure he would put on her belly. She also had intense pain if she ate even small amounts of food. Unfortunately with UC, diarrhea is also a major symptom. After dealing with these symptoms at their worst for days, she was hospitalized to help keep her comfortable and hydrated until she could have a colonoscopy to confirm the suspected diagnosis of UC. This was confirmed and the doctor also discovered that the ulcers went along the entire length of her large intestines.
The treatment for UC is immunosuppressants. These medications are not cheap and not covered under OHIP. It's called Inflectra and it is administered intravenously. Kaitlyn had her first treatment in hospital on March 8, 2021. She'll be getting her next dose 2 weeks after that initial dose, then the next one 6 weeks after. Following that, she will need another dose every 8 weeks until advised to stop by her doctor. There is no guaranteed end point. Each infusion will cost between $1200-2500CAD.
Kaitlyn is going to try to apply for Trillium benefits, but she may be denied. I want her to be able to receive her treatment and not have to worry about finances if that is the case. I will be updating the goal as we know more about her benefits status and find out exactly how much her infusions will cost.
