Help Kaitlyn recover from house fire

Donation protected

This fundraiser is built on behalf of Kaitlyn by her co-workers and friends.  The incident happened suddenly and we asked her permisson to make this on her behalf while she deals with the details that require her immediate attention.

A quick glimpse into Kaitlyn's life:

Kaitlyn hasn't always been dealt a fair hand in her life, losing both her parents to tragedy.  Raised by her mother solely until she was 8,  Kaitlyn and her stepfather were the caregivers to her mother when she was diagnosed with cancer and regardless of circumstances, both parents did their best to support the family on a small budget.

Kaitlyn lost her stepfather suddenly due to a heart attack whilst caring for their mother, as time went on Kaitlyn dropped out of high-school to financially support the household as well as be a full-time caregiver to her mother.  Kaitlyn's mother succumbed to cancer eventually losing her ability to function independently and passed away on Christmas eve.

These events never stopped Kaitlyn from being kind to others and always extending help to those in need. Kaitlyn has still managed to keep a positive outlook on life.

This time the hand that she has been dealt is a little more than she can handle by herself and we are looking for any help we can get to help her get back on her feet.

What happened:

On February 8th, 2021 in the early hours of the morning a house fire started on the apartment porch above her. Kaitlyn was lucky to notice the flames and get out with only her purse and the clothes on her back but she lost everything else, with nothing to be recovered Kaitlyn is truly on her own.

We are reaching out to you all in order to help her rebuild what she has lost in any increment you can.  I think we all can agree times are tough for everyone given the circumstances,  but if you are able to donate, even if it's a small amount, it is truly going to someone who is deserving of this kindness.

Please share with your family, friends,  coworkers, and let's show Kaitlyn that even though she is strong and has accomplished so much by herself, she is deserving of a little help and she isn't the only one willing to help someone in need.

Attached is the information on the fire.
