Help Kaitlyn Join Blue Knights 2025!

I am beyond excited to share that I will be performing my age out season with the Blue Knights Drum and Bugle Corps for the 2025 Drum Corps International Season!

For those who may not be familiar, DCI is the highest level of performance in the marching arts, bringing together elite performers from across the globe. As a part of this experience , I will travel across the United States, competing in 22+ competitions leading up to the World Championships at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

Beginning May 24th, I will travel to Denver, Colorado where I will train for 12-14 hours a day throughout June to prepare for the demanding production we will perform all season. For the rest of the summer, we will tour the country, performing and competing at the highest level.

My Journey in colour guard began when I joined the marching arts 10 years ago. Since then, I have been a dedicated member of the bands of Calgary where I have learned key life skills and has provided me with a second home. Colour guard has become more than just an activity for me, it is a passion that has shaped me into the person that I am today. It has provided me with a sense of belonging, lifelong friendships and unforgettable experiences.

While all of this is so lovely, Participating in DCI comes with a significant financial challenge. The total cost of this season including tuition and travel expenses is projected to be around $8,000. As this was a surprising turn of events I am relying on fundraising to make this dream a reality. I am reaching out to ask for your support in any way possible. Every donation, no matter the amount, brings be one step closer to achieving this dream. I am incredibly grateful for any contribution you can make the help me pursue my dream of marching with the Blue Knights.
