Please Help Us Save Kaitlyn’s Life
I never thought I would be writing something like this, but we are running out of time.
Our friend Kaitlyn is out on the streets right now alone, vulnerable, and fighting a battle with addiction that is putting her life in serious danger. Every single day, we worry if she’s okay… or if we’re going to get a call that will break us forever.
She’s in her early 20s and has been through so much hardship in her childhood and even into adulthood. Anyone who knows her knows she’s always been positive, always giving, always selfless even sharing her last dollar with someone in need. She’s a woman of faith, and despite everything she’s faced, she’s always been there for others. She was kicked out young, and though she was doing okay when she moved to Arizona, life got hard. She’s homeless now, and addiction has been part of her struggle because of the people she’s been around. Even now, some of her biggest worries are for the people she’s on the street with she wants to help them all. She’s one of the kindest, most caring people I’ve ever met, and her life is too precious to go to waste.
To me, she’s not just a homeless woman people walk past or frown at she’s my best friend. She’s the person who was there to cheer me up when I needed it the most, who listened to my thoughts without judgment, who shared laughs and deep conversations, even conspiracy theories, and just genuinely cared. She has a sister who she helped raise and who needs her. She deserves a life where she can help people and live fully not just survive on the streets or worse, not survive. We’re raising money to get her into rehab and give her a real chance to rebuild her life. Her story can be a testimony, not a eulogy. She’s meant for so much more than this, and she deserves the chance to shine, to love, to be loved, and to live the life God intended for her.
And we finally have that chance.
A rehabilitation facility is willing to take Kaitlyn in and sponsor her treatment something that could truly save her life. They are asking for an upfront cost.
This is urgent.
Kaitlyn is not safe where she is. Every night is uncertain. Every day is a risk. We are trying to reach her before it’s too late.
Please, if you can find it in your heart to help even a small amount it could be the reason Kaitlyn gets off the street, into treatment, and onto a path toward recovery.
And if you can’t donate, sharing this could help save her life too.
We are not ready to lose Kaitlyn. She still has so much life ahead of her. She still matters. She is still worth fighting for.
Thank you for reading, for caring, and for helping us bring Kaitlyn home.
Please help if you can. Any donation will go directly toward helping her get back on her feet.
