I’m reaching out on behalf of my cousin Sarah and her brave 18-year-old daughter, Kaitlyn. Recently, Kaitlyn received the devastating diagnosis of stage three sarcoma tissue cancer. At an age when she should be planning her future and enjoying newfound independence, she is instead preparing to fight for her life.

Doctors have scheduled a major 10-hour surgery, after which Kaitlyn will remain in the ICU as she begins a long and difficult road to recovery. The emotional toll has been unimaginable — and the financial strain is growing quickly.

Between ongoing treatment, hospital stays, and frequent travel for medical care, the costs are becoming overwhelming. As a family, we are doing everything we can, but we cannot do it alone.
