Help Kaitlin & Kyle Sharp Create Their Miracle Baby with IVF

Hello, friends and compassionate strangers! My name is Emily, and I am reaching out on behalf of my sister, Kaitlin, and her husband, Kyle. Today, I am asking all the people in Kaitlin and Kyle’s life, the people who have experienced their generosity with their time, money, energy and love, to give back to this wonderful couple. We all know they are the first to show up for a friend or family member and they are the last to leave. They are a wonderful couple and even better humans. Their desire to be parents is evident not only in their efforts to become so but also in the way they treat my two children and the children of their chosen family. Kaitlin is an amazing Aunt Kiki, a dedicated teacher, and an all-around wonderful person who has dreamed of being a mom her entire life. Unfortunately, due to severe infertility issues, they need your help to make this dream come true through In Vitro Fertilization (IVF).

After 10 years of trying, extensive medical testing, and too many hard nights to count, the only hope moving forward is the miracle of IVF. They had their first egg retrieval, and while it provided many medical answers (and a lot of debt), it didn’t result in a child.

Kaitlin has a low egg count, and Kyle has a balanced Robertsonian Translocation (he’s literally a mutant, and while it's cool to say, it makes making a baby impossible without IVF).

Medical tests showed Kaitlin’s ovarian reserve is comparable to that of a woman over 40, even though Kaitlin is only 31. This means with every period, her egg reserve continues to drop, which is why the clinic has advised them to proceed with IVF without delay.

IVF is a complex and expensive process. The cost of medications, treatments, and medical procedures can range from $20,000 to $30,000 per cycle, and often, more than three cycles are necessary. Unfortunately, her teaching insurance does not cover these expenses, and the financial burden is overwhelming.

Becoming parents is their deepest desire. The thought of nurturing a child and watching them grow gives them immense hope and joy. Your generosity will not only alleviate the financial stress but will also give them a shot at their dream of holding their baby.
