Help Kaite and her daughters rebuild after fire

If you know Kaite, then you know what an incredible human being she truly is. People often say “she’d give you the shirt off her back,” but for Kaite, that isn’t just a saying — it’s who she is at her core. She is one of the most selfless, hardworking, and compassionate people I have ever met. No matter what she may be going through herself, she is always the first person to show up for others, lend a helping hand, or be the shoulder someone cries on when life gets hard. For five years, Kaite was not only my mentor, but truly like a second mom to me. And I know I’m far from the only person who feels that way. She has touched the lives of so many people who have walked through her doors with kindness, love, patience, and unwavering support. She has spent her entire life putting others before herself, always making sure everyone around her feels cared for and safe. Above all else, Kaite is an incredible mother. She has raised her daughters, Maya and Marley, on her own, and they are a direct reflection of the love and strength she pours into this world every single day. They are sweet, kind, compassionate girls — just like their mom.

After a devastating house fire, Kaite and her girls are now facing the unimaginable task of rebuilding their lives from the ground up. Not only did they lose their home, but they also lost Kaite’s mother — the girls’ grandmother — along with one of their dogs and two beloved cats. They lost irreplaceable memories, treasured belongings, and the home filled with memories of when Kaite’s father was still alive. In an instant, they lost everything. This family has spent years giving so much love and support to everyone around them, and now they need us more than ever. Any donation, no matter how small, will help provide essentials, clothing, temporary housing, pet supplies, and help them begin rebuilding after this heartbreaking loss. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this page and keeping their family in your thoughts means just as much. Thank you for loving and supporting this beautiful family during such an incredibly difficult time.
