The mother of my child and her family recently experienced a devastating apartment fire. In a matter of moments, everything was lost—her clothes, all of Kai’s clothes, shoes, and toys, as well as TVs, gaming systems, beds, and furniture. When I say everything, I mean everything. The fire took away not just their belongings, but also her beloved dog and cat, adding to the heartbreak and sense of loss.

As a dad, I am doing everything I can to support them, but the needs are way more than what I can provide unfortunately. They need the basics—clothes, shoes, toys, and a safe place to stay.
