Hi, my name is Kairi, and I’m reaching out for help. I’m living with multiple, debilitating chronic health conditions that are impacting every aspect of my life. These health issues make it impossible for me to work, manage daily activities, and even take care of basic living needs. My situation has become urgent, and I need your support to survive.

The Financial Strain
On top of these health challenges, I am now in the negative in my checking account and have past-due bills piling up. I can't even afford basic supplies like toilet paper, baby wipes, and other necessities for everyday living. My medical bills are stacking up, and I have no way to pay for vital equipment like a wheelchair, shower chair, ice packs, and braces—all things I desperately need just to get through the day. As well as things like my special nutrition needs.
I am currently in the process of applying for disability, but it's a long, uncertain process. In the meantime, I am doing everything I can to manage, but I can't survive on my own without your help.
What I Need Right Now
Here’s exactly how your donations will help:
Medical Supplies & Equipment: I need a better-fitted wheelchair, shower chair, and special ice packs and braces to manage my pain and make it through each day. These items are essential for my safety and mobility, but I can’t afford them on my own.
Bills: I’m falling behind on rent, utilities, and other basic living expenses. Your support will help me pay these bills and keep a roof over my head.
Basic Necessities: Items like toilet paper, baby wipes, and food are things I can barely afford right now, let alone the extra medical costs for ongoing care. This has been made even harder since the government shut down and not getting my SNAP.
Disability Application Process: While I’m waiting for disability benefits to come through, your support will provide a temporary lifeline to get through each month.
