Kairi is my beloved cat, and she’s been my constant companion through so many ups and downs. On Christmas Eve, I rushed her to the emergency vet, where she was diagnosed with pancreatitis and IBD. As if that wasn’t enough, Kairi also has a rare bone disease called multiple cartilaginous exotosis, which causes painful bony growths on her legs. One of these growths led to a wound that keeps reopening, and her leg will need to be amputated to give her relief.
Last month, I moved out on my own for the first time, and right after, Kairi had another emergency flare-up. The stress and costs have been overwhelming, but I’m determined to do everything I can for her. The funds raised will help cover the cost of her leg amputation, as well as the X-rays and ultrasounds she needs. They will also help ease the burden of the emergency vet bills I’ve already paid.
Kairi is my favorite thing in the world. She’s a sweet and cuddly kitty, and I can’t bear to see her in pain or feel helpless. Any support would mean so much to us, and I’m grateful for any help you can give.
