My name is Kailey, and I’m reaching out during a difficult time for my family and me. After years of addiction, I’ve been in recovery for eight years, but the impact on my dental health has been severe. Despite my best efforts, I’m now facing ongoing pain that makes it hard to eat and manage daily tasks as a stay-at-home mom to my two little boys and my husband, Carlos. The pain has become a constant struggle, affecting my ability to care for my family and be present for them each day.
Recently, I was evaluated at UTHealth Dental School, and Gulf Breeze Dental where I learned that the only way to save my teeth is to move forward with treatment. I need a total of four root canals with crowns to prevent further loss and relieve the pain. Yesterday, I had no choice but to have a tooth pulled, and the thought of losing more is heartbreaking. I’ve tried every option available, including applying for financial assistance, but I’m still unable to cover the full cost of treatment on my own.
Getting this dental care would mean everything to me—it would allow me to save my teeth, improve my health, and be the mom and wife my family deserves. I know God is in control and, regardless of the outcome, I trust in His faithfulness. I appreciate anyone taking the time to read my story, and any help or prayers you can offer mean more than you know. Thank you for supporting me on this journey to healing and hope.
