Help Kaila finish her Bachelor's degree

Hi all! My name is Kaila and I'm a college dropout.
From 2014 to 2017, I studied English Literature at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. In my time there, I managed to make Dean's List, publish an academic paper, and write for the school newspaper, all while completing internships and working 20-30 hours a week to pay for school out-of-pocket.
I was forced to drop out 30 credits shy of graduation because of financial difficulties from my family. I owe the school about $10k from my last semester as a result.
I've tried to pay down the bill on my own over the past few years, but most of my pay has gone to living expenses—especially during inflation—so I've just been treading water this whole time.
I've been blessed to find stable employment up until this point, but journalism jobs are very vulnerable to economic downturns . If I got laid off (which I have before) and can't find another job in the industry, I don't know what I'd do without a Bachelor's degree.
I also have goals: After getting my Bachelor's, I'd like to apply for the Master of Studies in Law program at Yale Law School, which would provide me with the in-depth legal education I'd need to pursue more ambitious investigative journalism.
This has all been made difficult because of this outstanding bill. I come from a working class background that's made life more complicated for a long time, so this time I'm asking for help.
Finishing my Bachelor's would be a huge help to me, and in return I would use that education to give back to my community. I know we're in hard times right now, but it would mean the world to me if you donate!
Thanks for reading, anyway! x
