Help Kaiden Millar in his fight with cancer

Please Help Kaiden Fight Again
Kaiden is only 13 years old — and he is fighting for his life for the second time.
Just weeks after his 12th birthday, our world shattered when we were told the words no parent ever wants to hear: leukemia.
He endured months of brutal treatment. Endless hospital stays. Needles. Pain. Fear. He missed school. He missed friends. He missed simply being a child.
And somehow — through strength no 12-year-old should ever need — he beat it.
But the fight wasn’t over.
He stayed on treatment to stop the cancer coming back. We dared to hope. We tried to breathe again.
Now that hope has been ripped away.
Kaiden’s cancer has returned — and this time it is rarer, more aggressive, and far more complex. He is facing a devastating combination of ALL and AML leukemia, something only 2–5% of patients experience.
The treatment ahead is relentless.
He is now facing:
• Aggressive combined chemotherapy
• Painful injections
• Lumbar punctures
• Repeated bone marrow tests
• And potentially a bone marrow transplant
If he needs a transplant, recovery could take 5–10 years. If complications happen, he may need specialist treatment in Newcastle — meaning at least 10 weeks in hospital, followed by more time in charity accommodation before he could even come home.
During some treatments he will be in strict isolation because even a simple infection could be life-threatening. That could mean not seeing his dad if he’s been working.
Imagine being 13 and fighting cancer — and not being allowed to hug your dad.
For the past year, Kaiden’s life has been hospital rooms instead of classrooms. He had only just started secondary school when he was diagnosed. He hasn’t had the chance to build friendships. He hasn’t had normal teenage milestones. While others plan football matches and sleepovers, Kaiden plans blood tests and chemo cycles.
The physical toll is heartbreaking.
The emotional toll is unbearable.
And now the financial pressure is becoming overwhelming. Travel costs. Food. Parking. Time off work. Everyday bills that don’t stop just because cancer has walked into your life.
We can’t plan holidays. We can’t plan days out. We can’t even plan next week.
But what we would love — more than anything — is to say “yes” on the days he wakes up feeling strong. To surprise him. To give him something to smile about. To create small, precious moments of normality in the middle of this nightmare.
We know times are hard for everyone. We truly do. But if you are able to donate — no matter how small — or even just share Kaiden’s story, you are helping a 13-year-old boy fight for his future.
Please help Kaiden fight again.
Every pound. Every share. Every message of support.
It all matters more than you know.
