Dearest Friends & Close Family!

I am writing to you today because I am coming up on a big threshold for myself, and am here to ask for help~

In December I am getting a life-affirming surgery I have wanted for quite some time, the details of which I will not disclose and I trust folks to honor that.

Some information I feel that could be helpful is that I feel this is a surgery I have been wanting and I have thought about it very delicately for 5 years. It is one I have not chosen lightly, and one that I feel will improve my life in a way that is going to be marked as a threshold for myself.

It is hard to ask for support when I give such little information, but it is in my integrity to keep to myself on keeping this information close. So once again, thank you for honoring that.

With surgery coming up so soon and being in massage school, funds are getting tighter and tighter. I am asking for financial support for covering the costs that are no longer covered through my insurance, rent of my stay while I am in surgery and then rent for my home here while I heal, and a bit of food for my stay away during surgery. The cost I am aiming for is 3500, or 4444 at the most to help support the costs of those caring for me as well.

Anything that is offered is greatly appreciated and if you cannot offer finances and feel called to support, please feel free to reach out! Once I am back in town, I would elatedly receive meals or visits from those I love and care about.

I am sharing this in confidence and ask that you only share via trusted community and those who your hearts are called to share to.

I do not like to talk about this openly as it is tender and sacred, and I ask if you ever mention this surgery that you receive consent first from me.
