Help Kai get to Canada
Hi everyone my name is Loretta. I'm a single mum with two obsessed basketball players, Kai and Heath. Both have an extreme talent and passion for basketball. Just a few weeks ago, Kai was offered an opportunity to go to school and train in a basketball program over in Canada THIS YEAR!! He literally has a matter of weeks to get there and has been offered a basketball scholarship which will help him achieve his dream of going to college and playing basketball overseas at a professional level. While the basketball program is a partial scholarship, the school fees still need to be paid as well as the homestay board each month and they are less than cheap! I am doing everything I can to help him get over there but am falling short. The expense is nothing in comparison to the life experience and future opportunities that can come from this but I need some help to get him there. Anything you can do to help me help Kai achieve his dream of pursuing his basketball career would be appreciated more than you could know.
Hopefully from this opportunity Kai will be offered a scholarship to college the following year and the possibilities from there are endless! Anyone who knows Kai knows he is an amazing child with a fantastic outlook on life and an unwavering passion for basketball from the age of 6 and has never strayed from that vision of wanting to play basketball at a professional level. Kai has never been distracted by parties or going out because he has always focused on his basketball and put that above everything else so it is no surprise to me that he has been recognised for his drive and talent, as well as having a beautiful heart and nature. I have done everything I possibly can to get Kai over to Canada to take advantage of this opportunity with such short notice....including this request for help which is one of the hardest things I've ever had to do, but I just cant do it alone and I'm not going to let my pride stand in the way of Kai achieving his dream so I Thank You so much for considering to help Kai secure his future and strive towards his goals in life.
