Hello my name is Kai, aspiring filmmaker, SU Student, semi-retired Marine, and distance-running enthusiast. I am in my sophomore year of school and the time has come for me to graduate from simple 1 minute sketch comedies to creating films that involve a full cast and crew! For that, I need a little bit of extra cash. My film is called Poker Night.

Poker Night is a short film/situation comedy about Daryl, an introverted man with everything going for him, with a beautiful wife and a recent promotion at a well-paying job. He reluctantly accepts an invitation for a $20 poker game at the local after hours hang out with his coworkers and shenanigans ensue!

My idea for Poker Night started with a funny misunderstanding while enjoying a night off while on the Marine Security Guard program. Then, it became a story I liked to tell at parties. Now, it's a 15 minute screenplay, with (mostly) fictitious characters, and more chaos, ready to be adapted to the screen for your entertainment and for my educational growth as a filmmaker.
