Hello fellow friends, chosen family and theatre kids alike, our friend Kai was given some extremely difficult news and we are looking for a way to alleviate some financial burden off of Kai and her family. After struggling with some unrelated health issues, it was discovered that Kai had a mass in her brain that was later found to be Glioblastoma, a highly aggressive form of brain cancer. Foreseeing a great deal of stress following this diagnosis, a group of us felt it was appropriate to reach out to Kai and get a Go Fund Me started, knowing that she would never ask for it or do it on her own behalf.

Kai is an extremely kind, caring and generous person, a dog lover and our crazy, handy-woman aunt. She is always offering her tools, expertise and a good laugh no matter what the situation calls for. She's the epitome of a ride-or-die kind of woman, so we knew the least we could do was get something set up for herself, Dawn and their three four-legged children.

Please understand while we know that this news is difficult and hard to grasp, being respectful to both Kai and Dawn is of utmost importance to everyone involved. Please respect their privacy and do not reach out to Kai or Dawn at this time, as they are struggling with this news and navigating it the best they can.
