This is my amazing, fun-loving cousin, KaeLyne Woolstenhulme Pendleton. KaeLyne and Frank were married in 1990. They lived in Whitney, ID for 16 years and moved to Overton, NV 15 years ago. They decided it was easier to shovel sunshine than snow! Here is her story:
"After spending 18 years teaching in the public school system, I resigned to start my own business. I started Permanent Learning Solution's LLC in 2011. I work with kids who struggle learning. I also added an Early Childhood program in an effort to prevent learning problems. This year I also run a one room school for grades K-3. I love making a difference in the lives of others." We have two daughters, Kerbee Atkinson (Robbie), and Tyra Pace, (Curtis). We have 5 grandkids who we absolutely love spending time with. Favorite activities:. Camping, horseback riding, hiking and golfing.
KaeLyne is self employed and because of the high cost of Frank's work insurance they do not have insurance.
On November 30th, 2020 KaeLyne found a lump in her breast. After many Dr. visits, MRI's, Pet Scans and biopsies she was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma as well as Metastatic ductal Carcinoma. She had surgery to get her port last week and begins her first round of Chemo this week. She will have six rounds of treatment before having a double mastectomy. After her double mastectomy she will continue her Chemo every two to three weeks for 6 months.
KaeLyne will be traveling to St. George, UT for her treatments, adding to her medical costs. Because she runs her own business, she will also be paying someone to cover for her while she is receiving treatment.
Having gone through breast cancer myself, I know first hand how fast medical bills stack up. Please help me in raising funds to help offset her medical costs, and loss of income. If you can't donate at this time, please share with your friends and family.
