Our daughter, Kadence Grace, was diagnosed with Stage 4 Neuroblastoma on June 21, 2024, an aggressive form of childhood cancer. We were devastated by her diagnosis, and treatment started for her immediately. Mom had to relocate from Northern California, giving up her home and job to be able to take care of Kadence while in treatment. Dad has had to remain working in order to maintain insurance for Kadence’s treatment that is estimated to be at least 21 months long. Treatment will include chemo, radiation and surgery. It has been incredibly difficult getting state help with finances, and Mom is currently in the appeal process through most of these services. Having patience during this stressful time has been difficult as bills are still due and life is still happening although it has stopped in many ways for us. We are asking kindly for any kind of help or donations to help our family continue to stay afloat as things continue to progress. It has been difficult to stay on top of monthly bills as well as gas driving back and forth multiple times a week to the hospital for care, extended stays in the hospital for chemo, clothing and toys to keep Kadence entertained during her stays, and rent. Thank you so much for lending us an ear to hear our story of our little warrior fighting this horrible disease.
