Hello, my name is Laura. My daughter, Kadence, is attending Duquesne University to pursue her dream of becoming a nurse.

from a young age, Kadence has had a caring heart and a deep desire to help others. She chose nursing because she wants to help make a difference is people’s lives-to be there for patients in their most vulnerable moments and provide the care and compassion they deserve. She has worked incredibly hard to get into Duquesne’s nursing program and is incredibly committed to becoming a nurse.

unfortunately, we are struggling with being able to pay the rest of her tuition. Despite applying for aid and working towards covering costs, Kadence still has a $11,000 tuition gap that we’re struggling to close. Kadence’s dad unfortunately passed away back in 2021, and it’s been a struggle being a single mom. As a parent, I want nothing more than to see her succeed, and that’s why I’m asking for help.

Every dollar raised will go directly towards Kadence’s tuition, books, and essential supplies needed for her nursing degree. Your support-no matter how big or small- would mean the absolute world to Kadence and would help her achieve her dream of becoming a registered nurse.
