Less than 2 years after losing their son to birth complications, Kaden, Melissa and their oldest son Jackson lost their rental home to a fire.

Kaden and Melissa have suffered more than any parent should ever have to after losing their son during birth in February 2024. As if that wasn’t devastating enough, they were sued by the hospital after his death. For the past two years they have struggled to stay above water both emotionally and financially. Kaden has primarily been providing by traveling away from his family for weeks at a time.

After a house fire on October 30th they now find themselves homeless, with just enough money to stay in a hotel for a few nights. Most of their belongings were lost or damaged in the fire as well.

This fundraiser is to first get them into a new rental home as soon as possible. If we surpass the goal for housing we would also love to help cover their medical and legal bills from losing their son.
