Hello, wonderful friends and supporters,

I'm reaching out to you with a heartfelt request to help my dear friend, Kadejah, who has found herself in a challenging situation. On January 14th, 2025, after a long day at work and picking up her children from aftercare, Kadejah was involved in a car accident. Thankfully, she and the kids escaped with only minor aches and pains, but her car was totaled. To make matters worse, the driver responsible for the accident didn't have insurance, leaving Kadejah to bear the entire financial burden of replacing her vehicle and facing increased insurance rates.

Kadejah works tirelessly, clocking in over 40 hours a week, all while ensuring her children attend a great school 20 minutes away from home. She is also committed to their well-being, taking them to weekly therapy sessions and engaging them in extracurricular activities like gymnastics, cheer, and swim. Without a car, she's been relying heavily on Lyft and Uber to get to work, transport the children to and from school, and attend their various appointments.

For those who may not know Kadejah, let me tell you a little about her. She has an incredibly big heart and has opened her home to children from traumatic backgrounds, offering them the love and stability they deserve. I've had the pleasure of knowing two of these children for quite some time, and the positive changes in their confidence, school performance, and overall outlook on life are nothing short of miraculous. Kadejah ensures these kids feel cherished, from getting their hair done every two weeks to dressing them in stylish clothes. One of the little girls once told me, with a beaming smile, "I love the way I look now," when I asked her about how she feels getting her hair done and always looking beautiful.

In just two years, Kadejah has made a profound impact on these children's lives, showing them what true love and support look like. Her selfless dedication to them is awe-inspiring, and she is truly a beacon of light and love in our community.
