Hi, my name is Jesenia, and I’m writing this with a broken heart.

I recently lost my fiancé, Kadeem Haynes, to cancer. Kadeem was more than the love of my life—he was a truly kind, patient, strong, and loving man. He was an incredible father, a loyal partner, an amazing son to his mother and someone who made everyone feel seen and valued. His presence lit up any room and he was the life of every party. The love for his family ran deep and he will truly be missed.

Kadeem’s passing has been devastating, and on top of the emotional grief, we are now facing unexpected financial hardships. Between medical and funeral expenses, and simply trying to maintain basic necessities, it’s been incredibly difficult.

We are humbly asking for help as we try to navigate and try to rebuild life without him. Every donation, no matter the amount, will go directly toward helping with funeral arrangements, outstanding medical expenses, and supporting our family as we work to get back on our feet.
