Help Kade beat cancer!

Hi friends! My name is Skye and my fur baby is a 9 year old husky.

A few weeks ago, my fur baby Kade was diagnosed with oral squamous cell carcinoma, which is a locally aggressive cancer in his jaw bone. It has a low metastatic rate to other organs, however requires life saving surgery to remove the cancerous part of the jaw to live past the next few months due to pain invading the whole jaw that will cause him to eventually stop eating.

Fortunately at 9 years old, Kade is in overall great health otherwise without any pre-existing health issues and has the potential of gaining several more years with surgery ASAP. He has been in such high spirits, still smily, loving, happy and has energy to play and zoomies, and we want to do everything we can to give him the best fighting chance to have a few more years of just that ❤️

The surgery on September 13 has been estimated to cost $7,000 due at the time of surgery.

We are still paying off the $3,000 bill from the first diagnostic surgery plus medications, and will have additional expenses at post-surgery follow ups. We are concerned with how we will afford these expenses, and unfortunately the only financing options the hospital accepts all have credit card high interest rates making it more difficult to afford. Please help us afford this surgery for our fur baby to give him the best chance possible ❤️
