Hi, my name is Kacie, and I’m reaching out during one of the most challenging times of my life so far. Recently, we discovered that our home has been impacted by toxic mold, posing serious risks to our health and safety. These tests were prompted due to health issues that seemingly had no explanation. Our home and safe haven has turned into a source of anxiety, health concerns, and financial stress.

The remediation process is extensive and expensive, involving professional mold removal, some structural repairs, mycotoxin treatment, and ensuring the home is safe to live in again. The estimated cost for these necessary steps and remediation is $20,000—a sum we simply cannot manage on our own no matter what we try to do.

We’ve already begun taking steps to address the issue, including consulting experts and moving temporarily to avoid further exposure, and seeing doctors who specialize in this for myself and my son. But we need help to make our home livable again. We know there is light at the end of the tunnel, even if the process is long.
