"Help Kacee Stand Again"

Hi I'm Ellen, Kacees'  mother.  I've been up in Baltimore since I received a call Friday morning from Kacee that she was in an ambulance heading for the hospital. She was in an accident while touring beautiful Baltimore resulting in a broken right femur and a torn LCL.  She was brought to John Hopkins Bay View Emergency Room. I arrived 6.5 hours later to find her all bandaged up - basically from her legs down.

At this time we're unable to leave Baltimore or operate due to the sever swelling in her knee, the plan of care has changed several times, but hopefully I'll be able to get her home within the week and get her medical care and rehabilitation back home in Raleigh, North Carolina. 

Kacee will need surgery and at this time we aren't sure if it will be 3 months or 6 months of rehabilitation before she can literally stand on her own two feet again.

Kacee works at a high volume men's hair salon and is on both feet all day to provide for her beautiful and amazing thirteen year old daughter, Kamryn.  Because of this situation she will be unable to work and therefore, unable to pay basic living expenses for several months for the both of them.

Kacee is very upset that she can't do what she loves, cutting hair, and even more devastated and worried of how she will pay her bills and provide for Kamryn, Ollie and Loki.

Kacee has health insurance, she doesn't need help with medical bills,  our main concern is the day to day living expenses covered; rent, utilities, car payment,  insurance and all the rest will add up quickly with her being unable to work. 

Kacee is a very strong and proud single mother, who has always done absolutely anything to help those in need. I'm hoping that you all will be able to help my daughter in her time of need. Anything will help!
