Help K9 Brix retire at home
Donation protected
They call dogs “man’s best friend” for a reason. And the bond between a K9 team is especially strong.
At no fault of his own my good friend Aaron is being forced to retire his police K9, Brix. Aaron is a police officer at a smaller University in southwestern VA (where he is an alum). After the law change last July, the University decided that they wanted to go in a different direction with their K9 program (disband it) and sell their narcotics K9. While I can’t blame them for trying to recoup some of their investment, it puts my friend Aaron in a very difficult position.
For those of you who don’t know, Aaron is a war veteran and a father of four with a new baby at home. He found out today that he needs to come up with $1053 by 02/28/2022, or he has to give up Brix.
This would put most cops in a tight situation, but with a new baby at home?
Aaron is the epitome of a true hero who has devoted his entire life to service of his country, and now his community. Let’s show him support and let his best friend and a member of his family retire at home where he belongs.
Every penny donated will go to keeping K9 Brix home.
