Meet Jye, a loveable greyhound whom I adopted when he was only 8 months old. At that time he was already blind in one eye, and not very steady on his back legs, but overall he seemed healthy. As he’s gotten older, he’s struggled to put on weight, looses balance and has become more ‘wobbly’ when walking, and has neurological issues.

12 months ago he was diagnosed with the Neospora Parasite https://www.msdvetmanual.com/dog-owners/disorders-affecting-multiple-body-systems-of-dogs/neosporosis-in-dogs

for which there is no cure, just medication to suppress the symptoms and gives him a better quality of life, unfortunately these medications are expensive ( average $500 a month ) & his blood tests are $300 each time, and as COVID19 has affected my source of income drastically, these costs are getting harder to meet each month.

I don’t normally ask for financial help, I’m asking on behalf of Jye to help him have the quality of life he deserves, he’s such a happy sweet soul, I call him my special egg, just slightly scrambled.
