Help Justin’s Recovery After Motorcycle Accident

Donation protected
Justin is “that guy.”

He is that guy you call when you need a pep talk.
He is that guy who holds the door open for you…and not just at Wawa.
He is that guy who will leave work to come and rescue you…no questions asked.
He will shake your hand and ask your name because he genuinely wants to get to know you.
He is that guy who will cook for you out of pure joy of seeing your smile.
He is that guy who will drive all night just to hug you.
He is a great Dad. He is my Best Friend.

On 4.11.23 on his way to his new job he was involved in a hit and run accident on his motorcycle. He was traveling 45 and honestly is lucky to be alive.

He is in the hospital with broken ribs and collarbone. If you know Justin well, breaking his right collarbone means no cooking…no fidgeting with his EDC man tools…and no Sarah dances to get her to sleep. I know the part that is hurting him most is not being able to be there for his kids.

Because he just started his job, there are no benefits including loss of income. I also have been on STD struggling with severe fatigue and hopefully after this bone marrow biopsy…have answers. But I can barely make it through a day without hours of rest let alone taking care of my husband and children.

Finally, I am not sure what this stay will cost us, nor am I confident that justice will be served with the person that caused the accident- so we are asking for help for our family to get us through.

And it doesn’t just have to be money-it can be your time- a phone call…anything. And any money that is donated and not used - we are donating it to the Diabetes Network because not only has Justin’s best friend been plagued with this but we just today found out Justin has it to.

If you know me, you know I don’t like to be the one asking for help. I am a get shit done type of woman…but I can’t do this alone. We need help.

I also know my husband and how he has been struggling with anxiety while he was unemployed —he wants to be that guy you depend on. Helping him would also put him in a better mental state.

We are still in the hospital as his diabetes diagnosis needs to be under control. The plan is to have him set up at his parents house that is fully handicap accessible and I will bounce back and forth with kids and husband. I will keep you all updated about his progress.

Sending you all love.
