Help Justin with Medical and Living Expenses

Hi, my name is Vicki and I am fundraising for my son-in-law Justin Kiewra who has been diagnosed with thyroid cancer. A few months ago Justin had laryngitis several times, he went to the ER and testing showed a highly suspicious nodule on the left of his thyroid gland and a nodule on the right. A biopsy last week confirmed it is cancerous and a thyroidectomy is scheduled for September 8th. We are praying the cancer is contained and hasn’t spread into his lymph nodules, but we will not know until the surgery.

Justin is a hardworking husband supporting my daughter Kayla while she is in school and their three children Faith, Troy, and Myles. At this time Justin does not have medical insurance. They are trying to obtain healthcare for him as we speak. The hospital notified them today that the surgery will cost $33,000.

As a young couple with three children they struggle financially on a daily basis and this diagnosis has put tremendous stress on them emotionally and they fear the financial devastation that will follow.

I am not one to ask for help, but this situation is way bigger than me and help is truly needed. Donations will be allocated to medical bills which are already mounting, living expenses, and to help with unpaid time off from work.
