I’m writing this today with fear and anguish for someone who is more than just a friend but whom became apart of our family. My brother Justin had worked so hard to become a CO and to make a difference in the community. He worked long hours while risking his own safety keeping the bad guys locked up. Unfortunately on one night out with friends it turned into his worse nightmare. As he left a situation to avoid a an altercation he ended up in a much more serious one. He was approached by a man that made an accusation as well as charged at him and threatening his life. He gave a verbal warning but unfortunately feared for his life and had to use his own registered legal weapon on him. Thankfully nobody was seriously hurt and the person had only injuries to his leg to stop the threat. Justin is now facing 10+ years in prison for defending himself.
