My name is Justin, many of my family and friends know me as cucho. I recently suffered a fibula fracture while playing soccer. Soccer is everything I know—I have played every single day for the last 15 years. Before work, after school and even before sleeping soccer was my cure. This injury has completely changed my daily life, making even simple tasks a challenge. I’m now facing surgery and a long recovery process, and I’m reaching out for support as I navigate this difficult time on my own.

The funds raised will go directly toward my medical bills, which have quickly added up. Since this injury happened outside of work, my employer nor my team will not be assisting with any of the medical expenses. With a recovery timeline of three to six months, I’ll need ongoing care and treatment to get back on my feet and walking better than normal. I will not be able to walk for the next 3 months. Managing most things by myself has made this journey even more overwhelming, but I’m determined to heal and return to the activities I love.
