Help Keep Our Family Together

My name is Naomi, and I am raising funds to help my son-in-law, Justin Nel, a 22-year-old originally from South Africa. Justin met my daughter, Mariah, while working in the United States on an H-2B visa at a fair. They later married and welcomed their first child in 2024.

Justin is a devoted father, a loving husband, and a kind, hardworking man. Mariah and Justin worked tirelessly and saved everything they could to file the required immigration paperwork, spending thousands of dollars, so Justin could legally remain in the United States. We submitted forms I-130, I-485, and I-765.

Unfortunately, Justin’s I-485 was recently denied, and because his I-765 was not approved, he is currently unable to work. This has created an overwhelming financial and emotional burden for our young family.

They now have only 26 days to file a Motion for Reconsideration. We did our best to submit the paperwork without legal representation, but I am not an immigration attorney, and hiring one was not financially possible at the time. It is now clear that we urgently need an experienced immigration attorney to help us move forward.

We are asking for help to cover attorney fees and immigration filing costs so Justin can stay with his wife and child. Any donation, no matter the amount, will make a meaningful difference.
