In October 2016, Justin was diagnosed with Grey Zone Lymphoma, a very rare strain of Hodgkins Lymphoma.
For the past 2 and a half years, Justin has been battling tirelessly with tests, scans, procedures, multiple surgeries and what feels like a million set backs.
With such a rare diagnosis, the search for a successful treatment has become quite a long and trialling road. Process of elimination has resulted in Justin trying 5 different types of chemo and rounds of radiation. And yet he is still searching.
A month ago, Justin boxed up his life in Cairns and relocated to Melbourne – taking a chance after being offered an immunotherapy treatment in Melbourne.
Isolated from his friends and family, Justin needs support. Unable to work and no means of other financial income, things are starting to feel impossible and urgent.
