Help Justin Smith's Family Through Crisis

Donation protected
On October 4th, 2024, Justin Smith was at work when a mud pump malfunctioned and caused an explosion. Justin was in direct line of fire, causing multiple serious injuries.

He was immediately taken to Pomeroy Hospital in Ohio and ended up needing life flighted to a trauma center in Coloumbus, Ohio. All of the bones in the left side of his face are crushed, and he has multiple broken ribs. So far, Justin has had two surgeries to repair his spleen and to save his left eye. The doctors saved his left eye, but they also predicted he wouldn't be able to see out of that eye again. As of now, Justin will be getting a tracheotomy done Thursday. Then on Friday he will undergo an all-day surgery to repair his face and wire his jaw shut for at least 4-6 weeks minimum.

The doctors predict his recovery will take about six months to a year.

Justin is a father of two beautiful baby girls and a bonus father to his stepson. His loving partner, Janetta Cole, is the best stay-at-home mom and has been by his side this whole time. He is the sole provider for his family. They need help paying bills and to live on for the next year so all they have to think about is Justin's recovery. Any amount is helpful and very much appreciated! Thank you so much!
