Help Justin Support His Family In Their Time Of Need.

Hello, my name is Gil. I am attempting to raise funds for friends I consider family. They are having a hard time right now financially. Two years ago, Justin applied for Disability due to a tremendous car accident that crushed his spine. When this happened, he had to step away from concrete work and is awaiting yet another back surgery while getting injections to be able to get around and do everyday life. So, funds have been tight for them while awaiting disability determination sine 6/2022. Recently Justin has not been able to get any relief after seeing a DR. On 7/11 they have determined Justin needs to get the surgery sooner rather than later due to the injections no longer working. Justin will be having his surgery on August 13th

In the past year, Justin and his wife have had different agreements with Justin's son's mother outside of the court-ordered visitation. Since December, it has been one week on, one week off due to situations that were going on in her life (work) and Jack acting out in school. Since the visitation changed, Jack's behavior was much better in school and outside of school. Justin Brittany and Savanah were able to spend more time with Jack.

On Thursday, June 6th, at about 7 am in the morning, Jack's maternal grandmother called Justin and Brittany saying Jack's mother had relapsed and was in the hospital (asking them not to say anything to anybody). and until recently they kept it to themselves.

Since July 1st she has been trying to keep Jack from Justin and wants them to go back to the original court order because child support had not been paid on the day she wanted it paid.(it was paid 3 days later) The original order is Every other weekend and on Thursdays. Jack has become accustomed to being with Justin and Brittany for one week and His mom on the other week. To go from that to 8 days a month is not okay for Jack. In order for them to get into see a judge right away, they need a lawyer. When they picked Jack up on Friday like she said to 'stick with the court order', Justin went at 3:30 like the court order said to. Due to chaotic behavior and threats from Jacks maternal grandmother, Justin had to call Horry county to get his son. Instead of them all working together in the best interest of Jack, they created heartache and trauma for all involved.

I've had the honor of watching Justin and Brittany with Jack over the past 3 years. They are good, loving parents. They bring him to church, they have been involved in every aspect of his life. This is not fair that the children have to suffer. As per a message from Jack's biological mother, she is not currently allowed to be alone with the children, after Justin speaking to DSS it was found that that was not true she is currently allowed to be around the children. In the state of South Carolina, it's the mother's state unless she is deemed unfit in the court of law or a judge amends the visitation order, she will continue to do these spiteful things. Justin went to speak with DSS on Friday, 7/5, and the supervisor told him to get an attorney and file for emergency custody because the investigation on her could take a while and until then, because we're in South Carolina, she gets to choose where Jack goes. Please help my close friends come up with the money needed to support their family and help protect this little boy from an on going battle between the ones who love him.

UPDATE: Justin has filed all motions to the court as of 7/11/2024 to have the visitation amended, thanks to donations made so far.
