Help Justin Save His Sight and Future
Donation protected
My name is Becca, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my partner, Justin — a kind, funny, and resilient 31-year-old who is fighting to keep his remaining vision.
Justin is diabetic and is currently facing complete blindness due to severe diabetic retinopathy and retinal detachment. He’s already lost all vision in his right eye, and now, tragically, his left eye is quickly deteriorating too. Every day, we live with the terrifying reality that he may go completely blind.
Over the past 6 months, we’ve tried everything we could: eye injections, laser treatments, constant monitoring — but despite our efforts, his vision continues to decline rapidly. To make matters harder, the cost of ongoing medical care has placed an overwhelming strain on our finances. We’ve fallen behind on bills, including our housing and insurance, just trying to keep up with the appointments, treatments, and prescriptions he needs.
Right now, our only hope is to lower Justin’s A1C enough so that he can qualify for LASIK eye surgery — a procedure that could be his last chance to preserve what little sight he has left.
We’re asking for your help to cover the cost of:
• Routine specialist visits and monitoring
• Medications and supplies to manage his diabetes
• Emergency bills that have piled up (housing, insurance, utilities)
• The LASIK surgery he urgently needs to save his remaining vision
Anything you can give — whether it’s $5 or simply sharing this campaign — brings us one step closer to keeping Justin’s eyesight. This isn’t just about vision — it’s about preserving his independence, his ability to work, and his hope for the future.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for reading, sharing, and supporting us during the most difficult time of our lives.
With love and hope,
Becca & Justin
