My name is Justin, and I’ve always taken pride in running my own handyman business here in Henderson. On April 1, my life changed dramatically when I was in a dirt bike accident that resulted in the loss of my left foot. After spending time in the hospital, I’ve now been home for about a week, learning to manage daily life on my own. While I have friends who check in on me, I’m mostly taking care of myself and doing my best to stay positive, even as I face these new challenges.

Being self-employed means that if I can’t work, I don’t have any income. Right now, I’m unable to take on jobs or support myself the way I used to.
