I am reaching out because I am facing an unexpected and difficult situation. My personal email was hacked, and the individuals responsible were able to access my payroll account, and changed my banking information to a cash card without my knowledge. I have reported the incident with my employer and the appropriate parties to resolve the issue, but unfortunately I just received notice that the funds are unable to be recovered. As a result, I lost two weeks of pay that I depend and rely on.
