Help Justin Recover After Life-Saving Heart Surgery
Donation protected
My son, Justin Spencer, is facing the toughest battle of his life. At just 46 years old, Justin underwent emergency open-heart surgery this past Tuesday to replace a damaged artery with a mechanical valve. This life-saving procedure came after weeks of unexplained symptoms — double vision, fever, and extreme fatigue — which left him bedridden and unable to work.
After nearly three weeks in the hospital, Justin was diagnosed with a severe infection in his heart known as endocarditis. The infection had already spread to his brain, making treatment even more urgent and complex. Thanks to the dedication of his medical team, the surgery was a success, and Justin is now in recovery.
But the journey is far from over.
Justin will require twice-daily antibiotic infusions at a center for the foreseeable future and faces a long road to recovery, both physically and financially.
Justin has overcome many obstacles in life, including losing almost 200 pounds through dedication and lifestyle changes. He also spent over a year recovering from a ruptured patella — a painful injury that tested both his physical and mental strength. Despite these setbacks, he remained committed to his health and to helping others achieve their fitness goals at Crunch Fitness.
Your support — whether through prayers, kind words, or donations — means the world to our family during this incredibly difficult time. Every contribution will help with Justin's medical expenses, at-home care, and recovery needs.
Thank you for standing with Justin as he fights to heal and regain his strength.
