YOU GOT THIS JUSTIN!
Hi Friends and Family of Justin! We are Justin’s siblings reaching out on his behalf. A few days ago, we received the worst news possible. Justin was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. To say this news was gut wrenching is an understatement. NOT JUSTIN!! But as they say, " God gives his toughest battles to his strongest soldiers".
Justin went to the hospital Monday morning after he started to feel really sick at work. They did some testing and discovered his hemoglobin levels were dangerously low. His body was not producing blood. They immediately took him by ambulance to the hospital in Sarasota where they started blood and platelet transfusions. In the meantime, the doctors got to work doing all kinds of testing and scans to rule out everything possible. He was almost out of the weeds when his last set of test results came back. The dreaded bone marrow test. The test that checks for cancer in the blood. The doctors came in and delivered the bad news to Justin and his mom Grace. Positive for Leukemia. I can't imagine what it felt like to get that news. Justin was ready to go home. He had his day planned. He was going to get a whopper from Burger King, go home, get his sweats on, grab Izzy (his cat) and take a nap. Not Today! Justin has a long road ahead of him, but he is very strong and has an absolutely amazing out look on this whole thing! He is truly inspiring.
We are raising funds to help Justin with medical bills and extended time off from work.
We are SO grateful for any support & donation during this incredibly difficult time. In lieu of money Justin is also accepting donations for prayers, good vibes, funny text messages and shares.
Please help spread the word. Our brother means the world to us!!
