Help Justin gain consciousness and recovery
Hello my name is Melissa and I am fundraising for my son Justin Balliram. 14 year old Justin was involved in a car accident together with his mom and dad who was on the way home from visiting his 21 year old brother from the hospital who was also involved in a separate accident that very same night. The vehicle in which Justin and his parents were travelling was rear ended by a speeding drunk driver which struck the vehicle with such an impact sending it off the road, where all was taken to Delray Trauma Medical Hospital . Apart from Justin's parents being seriously hurt Justin suffered the most serious injuries ranging from Traumatic brain injuries from multiple skull and facial fractures, broken ribs, wrists, clavicle along with injured neck and bruised lungs and was placed100percent on ventilation. Days after the accident his brain kept swelling so doctors had to perform a decompressive craniectomy to release brain pressure. He has been comatose since the day of the accident 7/21/ 2021 to this current day with very little improvements and continues to fight for a recovery stage. Justin is a quiet, soft spoken , well behaved happy child who loves sports especially fishing and playing video games, he is a huge fan of Miami Dolphins and looking forward for a great season. Justin biggest excitement was starting high school in August, he was going to a freshman in South Tech Academy for his choice of automotive/ marine tech. As parents we would like our son to fulfill his dreams despite his condition we are fighting the fight all the way with him and with your help to cover some medical and long term care for this child. Justin would be needing to go to rehab for extended treatment and recovery in which the doctors started preparing him for, mean while mom and dad is on the road to recovery so dad can start back working to help support mom and Justin.
