This time of year is supposed to be about running around having fun and finishing Christmas shopping, anxious to see the magic in your kids' faces on Christmas morning when they see that Santa came, left gifts, and ate ALL the cookies. Instead, this year, the Crager family is frantically running around shopping for surgeons and oncologists as the ugly C word has reared its head unexpectedly onto their home.
Justin is 30 years old and a father of 2 boys Ryan (5) and Brody (8 months), and is also a husband to his beautiful wife Jeni. Justin will be starting chemo Christmas week, and is about to embark on a long and aggressive journey. We know they will make it through, and as a family they will beat this, but it won't be easy.
Justin is self-employed and does not have any paid time off, and only gets paid when he completes projects. Jeni is also having to take a leave of absence to help manage treatment, and other family duties. With Christmas being here, the start of ongoing chemo, and an abundance of additional unforeseen medical expenses the family could really use some help. We want the Crager family to worry about getting Justin better and taking time to heal without financial burdens looming over them.
The whole family greatly appreciates everyone's thoughts, prayers, and well wishes. If anyone does have any extra means to help them through this difficult time it would absolutely mean the world to them, if not well wishes and words of encouragement go a long way. We will make sure to keep everyone updated through this chaotic time, as we know that Justin will kick cancer's A$$!!
