I’m hoping you will consider helping my lifelong friend Justin Carpenter get the elbow surgery he needs to keep working and supporting himself financially.
Justin works on a farm in West Virginia every day doing physical labor to make ends meet. Early in his life, he made mistakes for which he has repaid his debt to society. However, because of those mistakes, he remains unable to secure a job that would provide him paid time off in case of a medical emergency or procedure.
For quite some time, Justin has experienced severe pain in both elbows which has likely resulted in part from his daily work activities cutting timber; baling hay; repairing machinery; rotating and feeding livestock; installing fencing; and mowing, weedeating, and otherwise maintaining acres of farmland. After consulting with a physician, Justin has been advised that he needs Lateral Collateral Ligament (LCL) Debridement Surgery in both elbows. The standard recovery timetable for this surgery ranges from 6 to 12 weeks and requires avoidance of strenuous physical activity during this period. Justin’s employer has graciously agreed to give him the time off for his surgery and recovery, and his state issued medical card will likely fully cover the procedures, but Justin desperately needs to secure financial coverage for his recovery period so that he can pay for food, rent, utilities, and other basic expenses.
Justin is a faithful and active member of Lifepointe Church in Mt. Clare, WV, and he always tries to help others when possible. Please help me return the favor. Let’s allow a hardworking man to get the healthcare he needs to make a full recovery and get back to work at full strength.
