Hi, my name's Eric. I'm the editor of Anglican Watch, one of the publications that has covered the unexplained death of high school senior Grant Solomon and the allegations of sexual abuse involving his sister, Gracie.
Today, I'm asking for your help for one of the volunteers in our efforts to find justice for Grant and Gracie. That volunteer is George Brewer, who has been a crucial part of our efforts every inch of the way. George needs our help with legal fees after being unfairly accused of harassing Grace Christian Academy employee Amy Blaylock Curle.
Some background:
- Amy Curle serves as head of counseling at Grace Christian Academy (GCA).
- George is a GCA alum.
- Curle is a mandated reporter of child sexual abuse in Tennessee.
- Despite being a mandated reporter, Curle refused to report Grant and Gracie's allegations of abuse by their father, Aaron Solomon.
- Curle decided not to comply with Tennessee's mandated reporter statute based on her claim that "we don't know the whole story."
- Curle's claims don't eliminate the requirement that she report child abuse.
- George has loudly called Curle out on social media for refusing to report allegations of child abuse.
- While Curle may be arrogant enough to believe she can pick and choose which cases of child abuse to report, she didn't have any such qualms regarding running to the police with her claims of harassment.
- Curle's fabricated criminal charges against George will require an attorney.
- As a young professional, George doesn't have that kind of money.
- I believe Curle's claims of harassment are nothing but an effort to shut down criticism of her indifference to child abuse.
Therefore, I'm asking you to join me in raising money to help with George's legal fees.
We cannot continue to work to find justice in this case when people bully those who stand up for the truth.
Far too often, in this case, we've seen people who don't want to speak up. And far too many people at Grace Christian Academy are circling the wagons, worrying about their reputations while not caring what happened to Grant Solomon.
That nonsense ends now. We're going to stick together, and we're going to do everything we can to help George and help each other until we get to the bottom of what happened to Grant Solomon.
