Justice will be 3 years old in July, and he is the most loving and social dog I have ever had. He adores all people and pets, especially kids. With his goofy personality and endless energy, he brings so much joy to our lives—always ready to cuddle when he isn’t bouncing around the house.
Today, we found out that Justice needs urgent surgery to remove his left eye. After visiting a veterinary eye specialist and going through several diagnostics, we learned that he is now blind in that eye and it cannot be saved. The only way to relieve his pain is an enucleation. We have already spent a lot on his prior visits and treatments, and while a wonderful organization is helping with a grant for part of the surgery, we still need help to cover the rest.
We are so worried that we won’t be able to provide him with the surgery he needs. The thought of having to give him up or consider euthanasia is heartbreaking—he’s so young and has always been healthy. Justice means the world to us, and we can’t bear the thought of losing him. Any help would be greatly appreciated. We aren’t ones to ask for help and I feel pretty embarrassed that I need help, but I’m willing to do anything for my boy. Your support would mean everything to us and help Justice get the care he deserves.
