We want to save this sweet pigs life, but we need your help! You may have seen a big pink male pig wandering out near the rum distillery for the last few months. He appears to have escaped or been dumped. Lately he has grown from very skinny to healthy and friendly. He discovered the Jurutungo horses live nearby and he comes faithfully to eat dinner with them and sleep in the farm.

Two nights ago he showed up in his favorite nap spot, but he didn’t come to dinner. He can barely get up because he’s been attacked and is covered in injuries. It appears to have been a dog attack. His tail and surrounding skin have been eaten off and he has deep wounds from head to toe.

He was able to eat and drink with some help. He even was kind enough to allow me to clean him up a tiny bit (with protest) and apply some antibiotic cream and inject pain medicine. We would love to give him a permanent home with us, but we are asking help from the community for the following costly things that he will need in order to survive and live at the farm.

This sweet rescue skipped the middle man and showed up right at our door. He deserves a second chance. Thank you for any support that you can give!
