Help Juno Relocate to Safety + Secure Housing!
Hello, my name is Emmett! I am fundraising on behalf of my longtime close friend, Juno.
Juno urgently fled Kansas this week due to escalating safety concerns. Increasingly hostile anti-trans legislation, ongoing stalking and harassment outside their apartment, and the sudden loss of their job forced them to relocate immediately with no financial safety net.
They are working with an LGBTQ+ support program in California for housing navigation, but they must be in the state first to formally begin the rehousing process.
We are raising funds to help them safely make this major transition and cover the essential costs of living while they await stable housing. This waiting period could take up to 90 days.
Your support will go towards:
- Travel expenses
- Temporary housing
- Food + Daily essentials
- Public transportation
- Access to necessary healthcare + medications
They are also prepping for a semester of online classes and are moving with their two emotional support kitties, Pumpkin and Walnut! :)
